Why Smokers Can’t Quit Easily:

Every smoker knows it’s tough to kick the habit. In fact, just seeing a photo of someone smoking is enough for would-be quitters to ditch their best intentions and light up “just one more,” research now shows.

And it doesn’t help when quit smoking commercials are on the TV and radio every 5 minutes. Those make me want to smoke more than anything.

  1. You trying to quit? I’ve been quit for 5 years now. Still want one every day.

  2. I keep falling on and off the wagon. Right now I’m 1 1/2 weeks on the wagon.

  3. I quit 4 1/2 years ago after a health scare. I thought I was having a heart attack but it turned out to be an anxiety attack. It was enough to send me to the ER and to scare the crap out of me. I haven’t had a cigarette since that day, haven’t even wanted one, and I started smoking at age 13. Wish I’d never started.. also wish I had stopped decades earlier.

  4. Lisa, you’re anxiety attack sounds a lot like my fake heart attack. That didn’t even get me to stop once they told me my heart was ok.
