NEW: Sex offender charged after failing to register MySpace account:

The crackdown of registered sex offenders on MySpace continues.

Police in Illinois picked up registered sex offender Gregory J. Kruckeberg Jr., 27, of the Bethalto, Illinois area after an anonymous tipster called police asking if he was allowed to have a MySpace.

MySpace has apparently had a fire lit under them too as once again the profile has been deleted before I could post the story.
