MySpace Catches Monahans Man Posting Child Pornography:

24-year-old Travis Adam Whiddon of Monahans, Texas has pleaded guilty to child porn charges and admitted that he has been collecting child porn since he was 15.

Whiddon was arrested and held without bail since September of 2009 when he posted child porn images to MySpace. MySpace picked up on this and reported it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children who in turn reported it to the FBI.

Whiddon is facing 20 years behind bars.

Not that I don’t think that child porn traders are just as reprehensible as sexual predators but how come they get longer sentences than actual child molesters?
