I’m seriously not trying to be a smartass here. I have a serious question.

Why is the UN so eager to authorize military action against Libya yet refused to lift a finger about Iraq? I think that what Gadaffi is doing to his own people, while still brutal, pales in comparison to what Saddam Hussein did to his own people.

So what is the difference?
