25-year-old Dylan Young was arrested by police in Chandler, Arizona, for allegedly trying to solicit sex from a 14-year-old girl over the mobile messaging app Kik. The 14-year-old girl was actually a police investigator.

26-year-old Jason Janatsch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to sharing child porn on Kik that he produced himself with a toddler he babysat.

Homeless rapper Rante Baker of Immokalee, Florida, has been arrested for allegedly ‘having sex’ with a minor between 12 and 15 that he met through Kik and Instagram.

47-year-old Stephen T. Callis of Richmond, Virginia, pleaded guilty to not just ‘having sex’ with a 15-year-old girl that he met on Kik but he also prostituted her as well.

UPDATE 6/23/2016: Callis was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

So In summation not only is Kik rife with sex offenders and pedophiles but child sex traffickers too.
