28-year-old Joshua Barnes of Billings, Montana, was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual abuse of children. Barnes had met a 12-year-old girl on the mobile messaging app Kik and allegedly gave her cigarettes and alcohol before sexually assaulting her.

Barnes and the victim had been talking on Kik for months before he allegedly took her to a hotel room where he assaulted her. Police later found videos on Barnes’ phone of the assault.

And for those of you who are new here, this is the part where I remind you that Kik is full of sex offenders, pedophiles, and child porn collectors.
